Shaped like an upside-down Y, the lake is dotted with villages, including the exquisite Bellagio and Varenna. Where the southern and western shores converge lies the lake's main town, Como, an elegant and prosperous Italian city. Bellagio is located at the tip of the so-called Lariano Triangle.
