The Property
Set in the heart of the Villa La Marcellina estate, Property 10715 offers the perfect countryside escape for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in the heart of Tuscany. Villa La Marcellina is an exclusive estate comprising three villas, each with its own grounds, pool, and outdoor space, which can be rented together or separately. With stunning views of the surrounding countryside, the three villas are ideally situated to ensure complete privacy for their guests, providing an ideal retreat for those wishing to explore this beautiful region.
With three of the most stylish properties in the Tuscan countryside, Villa La Marcellina is a 20-acre estate situated on a hill below the ancient hamlet of Panzano. Access to the property is via two short, unpaved roads starting from the town. Located in the heart of Chianti, the estate is perfect for families or friends seeking tranquillity and privacy in the countryside: two of the villas were built in the 16th and 17th centuries as farmhouses, while the third villa is a recent addition.
Surrounded by greenery, the property has been masterfully restored while preserving the atmosphere of a traditional Tuscan residence. After four years of renovation, completed in 2018 and involving a specialised architect, a construction company of local artisans, and a search for original materials from across Italy, the property is now available for rent. During the restoration, the owners have also respected the environment by using clean energy sources such as solar and geothermal energy.
Please note that high hedgerows divide the outdoor spaces of the villas, while windows and gates are positioned to ensure complete privacy. With stunning views of the Chianti countryside's vineyards, Property 10715 is approximately 850 metres from the village of Panzano and enjoys a privileged location between Florence and Siena. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, Property 10715 can accommodate fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
Surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden with olive trees, the outdoor space features multiple terraces and original stonework. Accessed from the main road via a private path, the villa boasts two pools: a small pool with a Jacuzzi (6 x 6 m; depth: 0.70 m) and an above-ground pool (3.5 x 11 m; depth: 1.10 m; height: 1.30 m). On the lower level of the garden, you will find an outdoor kitchen complete with a barbecue and a dining table for al fresco dining.
Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the villa features the classic façade of a Tuscan farmhouse with natural stone walls and a small turret on top, known as the Colombaia, which provides stunning 360-degree views of the Chianti countryside. With cosy corners and stylish furnishings, Property 10715 is spread over multiple levels. The villa blends period charm with modern comfort and is named after the theme of paintings of women found in some rooms and common areas.
The villa accommodates fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The villa also includes a spacious living room, two sitting rooms, a dining room, and a modern fully-equipped kitchen. There are several ways to access the villa: the main doorway is on the second level. A French door leads to a patio with a dining area and a table that can seat all the villa’s guests. On this level, you will also find the master bedroom, which features a luxurious free-standing Jacuzzi bathtub and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
A short flight of steps leads down to the lower level, where you will find an exclusive, panoramic indoor heated pool (heating included from May to October, max 28/29°C; during other periods, heating is available on request at an extra cost), complete with relaxing lights, a small bar, and a lounge area. On the same level, with independent access from the garden, is a comfortable double bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom with a shower.
