The Property
Property 421, situated on a hill approximately 3 kilometres from Monterosso, is a historic retreat originally dedicated to St Lorenzo del Terriccio. Once home to Benedictine monks affiliated with the St Gerolamo della Cervara monastery in Portofino, this complex features a church rebuilt in 1427 and modified in 1800, possibly over 13th-century foundations. The monastery includes a cloister with semi-circular arches and a 15th-century wine cellar, now converted into rooms with vaulted ceilings.
The villa boasts a stunning swimming pool set amidst expansive outdoor areas. The pool is surrounded by a spacious, sun-drenched terrace, ideal for lounging and sunbathing while enjoying breathtaking views of the landscape.
