In just twenty minutes by car, you can easily reach Ostuni, also known as “the White City”. With its ancient cobblestone streets, grand churches, and quaint white houses, Ostuni boasts a remarkable history that dates back to the Stone Ages. The Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace are especially striking, but there are many other architectural gems to be found, including the old homes of the nobles. You might even feel as if you are wandering through a picturesque Greek village.
The villa is also just a stone’s throw away from Martina Franca, the largest town in the Valle d’Itria. Located in the heart of the valley, Martina Franca serves as a great base for exploring this wonderful area. Its old centre features an intriguing mix of golden baroque and Greek-like white architecture, with many grand palazzi and churches, as well as a maze of narrow side streets perfect for aimless wandering.
The villa is also close to Locorotondo, a whitewashed hilltop town renowned as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, and Cisternino, often listed as one of Italy’s most picturesque towns. After visiting the historic Chiesa di San Nicola, you can enjoy charming views of the surrounding countryside from Piazza Garibaldi, across the street from the church, and the Torre Civica, the tower that helped protect the city.
A few kilometres from the villa is Alberobello, perhaps the most famous town in the Valle d’Itria due to its typical trulli: the conical rooftops combined with charming cobblestone alleys and whitewashed houses create a truly magical sight. The old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of a maze of lovely streets and steps lined with trulli. Although it may feel somewhat touristy, Alberobello remains a unique and enchanting place well worth a visit.
The villa is also a few kilometres from Savelletri, a picturesque port town with beaches and excellent dining options. Known for its quality seafood, Savelletri offers a traditional fishing village atmosphere. Enjoy fresh fish caught by local fishermen and stroll along the charming seafront. There is a lovely waterfront church with Templar symbols, dedicated to the patron saint, celebrated in grand style on the second Sunday of August with a procession of boats.

Comprised of eleven trulli, the villa can accommodate up to eight guests, featuring four bedrooms (three double bedrooms and one twin room) and three bathrooms.
Surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden, the villa boasts an exceptional pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers, inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the area beside the pool also features a large gazebo complete with a spacious well-equipped outdoor kitchen, a bar, a built-in barbecue, and an al fresco dining area, perfect for enjoying meals with your fellow guests.
Property 490 features three double bedrooms and one twin room. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are located at the front of the property, while the remaining bedroom and bathroom are situated at the back. All bathrooms have showers. Located at the back of the property, this small apartment with one bedroom features its own living room, well-equipped kitchen, and independent access. At the front of the property, you will also find a living area, a small dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen.
Property 490 is located near Villa Le Petit Bleu, on the same estate. Both villas together can accommodate up to 12 guests and can be rented together for larger groups.
