Buonconvento is a charming medieval village located just 5 km from Villa Violante, offering a perfect blend of traditional Tuscan atmosphere and modern amenities. Known for its well-preserved historic centre, visitors can stroll through narrow streets lined with quaint shops, cafes, and local eateries. The village is home to several landmarks, including the ancient Porta Senese, the gateway to Buonconvento, and the Museo di Arte Sacra, showcasing religious art from the region.

Montalcino, just 18 km from Villa Violante, is a picturesque hilltop town renowned for its rich history, medieval architecture, and world-famous wine, Brunello di Montalcino. Surrounded by lush vineyards and olive groves, Montalcino offers stunning panoramic views of the Val d’Orcia. The Property
Surrounded by nature and set in a landscape of exceptional beauty, Villa Violante offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking privacy and relaxation in the heart of Tuscany. Recently restored with great care, the villa is part of the Castelnuovo Tancredi Wine Estate, which spans 600 hectares in the Val d’Orcia, just a few kilometres from Siena and Montalcino. The property accommodates up to eighteen guests, with nine bedrooms across the main villa (seven bedrooms) and the dépendance (two bedrooms).

Surrounded by a lush garden, the property features a stunning swimming pool and a spacious poolside area with sun loungers, deckchairs, and parasols for shade on warm days. The sweeping views of the countryside provide a serene atmosphere, making the poolside a perfect spot for relaxation with a book or a glass of prosecco. The garden also includes a generous al fresco dining area with a barbecue. A newly built covered lounge area adds to the outdoor charm, while the main façade of the villa has been beautifully restored.

Main Villa:
The main villa offers nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread across the north and south wings. On the ground floor of the north wing, the interior living space is furnished with comfortable sofas offering plenty of seating, while large windows constantly provide inviting views over the garden, creating a luminous and airy atmosphere dominated by light colours. The ground floor also houses a large dining area and a modern, fully-equipped kitchen.

Main Villa - North Wing:
On the first floor of the North wing, you will find four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Yellow Room is a double bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The Blue Room is a double bedroom with a king-size bed (which can be arranged as a twin room) and a bathroom with shower next door. The Green Room is a double bedroom with a king-size bed with a bathroom with shower next door. The Burgundy Room is a twin room (90x200 cm) sharing the bathroom with the Green Room next door.

Main Villa - South Wing:
On the first floor of the South wing, there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Red Room is a twin room (can be made into a double) with a bathroom featuring a tub. The Black Room is a double with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower. The Canopy Bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite shower. There is also a tenth bedroom, the second Kids Room, a twin room (note it lacks air conditioning and is usually not included in the rental), sharing the bathroom with the Canopy Bedroom.

On the same floor, you will also find a large living room with a traditional fireplace and comfortable sofas. As the evening falls, gather around the fire, relax, and enjoy a glass of Brunello with your fellow guests, taking in the warm and inviting atmosphere. The rustic charm continues in the spacious Tuscan-style kitchen, also on this floor, which features a small table where guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, sitting beneath the beautiful timber ceiling. Dépendance:
The dépendance of the villa boasts two comfortable double bedrooms with bathrooms, which are spread over two floors. The ground floor of the dépendance houses a spacious living room complete with fireplace, a large kitchen, and a comfortable double bedroom featuring a bathroom with shower, while the master bedroom (with queen-size bed) featuring an en-suite bathroom with shower is located on the upper floor.

As already mentioned, please note that there is a tenth bedroom, a twin room located on the first floor of the South wing of the main villa (one of the eight rooms in the main villa), which does not have air conditioning. Due to this, this room is typically not included in the rental. Therefore, only seven rooms in the main villa are considered in the rental, in addition to the two rooms in the dépendance. This ensures maximum comfort for all guests during their stay.
