The surrounding coastline is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Salento, with crystal-clear waters, golden sands and unspoilt natural landscapes. Further south, the coastline becomes wilder and more dramatic, with rocky coves, sea caves and breathtaking views around Santa Cesarea Terme and Castro.

The Property
Surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, Masseria Salentina is a charming 300-square-metre villa located in one of the most evocative corners of Southern Italy. Featuring rustic yet chic interiors, the villa was built in the late 19th century as a country residence for a local aristocratic family. Today, this exceptional property can accommodate up to 16 guests, with the possibility of accommodating 3 additional guests in sofa beds. The rooms are spread across six main areas and two floors.
Set within a lush ten-hectare estate, the villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens featuring fragrant Mediterranean vegetation, holm oaks and pine trees. The property boasts an infinity pool, easily accessible via steps, with a spacious furnished poolside area enjoying excellent sun exposure throughout the day. The pool area is safely fenced off, making it suitable for families with children. A covered veranda provides a lovely setting for al fresco dining with a barbecue area and wood-fired pizza oven.
Rosemary Suite: Located on the ground floor, in the central part of the villa, this suite opens onto the gardens and features two entrances. Bright and spacious, it comprises two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower, two fireplaces, a generous dining area with a well-equipped kitchen and two comfortable sofa beds. The suite can accommodate up to four guests, with two additional guests sleeping on the sofa beds.
Laurel Suite: The Laurel Suite is located on the ground floor and overlooks the gardens and swimming pool. This bright suite comprises a double bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with shower and a living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a small dining table and a comfortable sofa bed. Two doorways lead directly out onto the gardens. The suite can accommodate up to two guests, with one additional guest sleeping on the sofa bed.
Strawberry Tree Suite: Located on the first floor of the villa, this rustic yet elegant suite features two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a spacious sitting room with an open fireplace. There is also a large, well-equipped kitchen and a generous panoramic terrace offering sweeping views over the olive groves, providing the perfect setting for enjoying a morning coffee. Flooded with natural light, this suite can accommodate up to four guests.
Mastic Tree Suite: Located on the first floor, this bright suite features a double bedroom and a bathroom with a romantic bathtub. It also includes a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and a spacious dining room with direct access to the generous terrace, which provides a perfect spot for sunbathing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The terrace also offers a lovely setting for relaxing outdoors. This suite can accommodate up to two guests.
Myrtle Room: Located on the ground floor and accessed directly from the garden, this charming double bedroom offers guests the opportunity to wake up to peaceful views of the gardens from the comfort of their bed. The room features an en-suite bathroom with shower and an outdoor kitchen area with a fridge. Flooded with natural light, it offers a cosy and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a quiet stay surrounded by nature. It can accommodate up to two guests.
Lavender Room: Located on the ground floor, this lovely room overlooks the orchard and accommodates two guests in a double bedroom with a private en-suite bathroom with shower. It also features a kitchenette area with a fridge and a private patio, offering a peaceful setting for afternoon aperitifs and relaxing moments surrounded by greenery. Bright and welcoming, the room provides a comfortable and intimate retreat for a relaxing stay.

Guests have no contact with the family unless they specifically wish to, also thanks to the separate entrance.
